Why Choose Our Practice for Your Surgery?
We at North Suburban Center for Oral & Facial Surgery truly believe nothing is too big for us and no case is too small. From single tooth implant placement or tooth extraction to facial reconstruction surgery, we are comfortable. We complete surgery in Implant placement, full arch implant restoration (see our full-arch restoration page), tooth extraction with and without sedation, tissue grafting, bone grafting, orthognathic surgery, reconstructive surgery, temporomandibular joint disease, and nerve repair. We commonly receive referrals from other dental specialists including oral surgeons, periodontists, and physicians for difficult or retreatment cases and for complication management.
Our practice uses top of the line technology to achieve the best results for any type of surgery. We utilize CAD/CAM guided Implant placement, guided orthognathic surgery with custom facial plating systems, and also use radiofrequency wave surgical units when necessary to minimize incisional damage and simultaneously cauterize, much like laser units. We customize the surgery to each patient and their situation.
Our practice uses top of the line implant technology, including 15 different brands. We have an implant for any situation and we believe in selecting the correct brand and size for each patient. We use short implants to avoid anatomical structures, thin implants, wide implants, and long implants. Our implants come in high-grade Titanium and Zirconium and we only purchase implants from high-end, quality and time tested companies. We perform immediate placement on molars and premolars, incisor teeth, and multiple implants for full arch reconstruction (see the full-arch restoration page) one of the few practices that place long implants in the cheekbone (see our Zygomatic page). We tissue graft as necessary for implants and place both CAD/CAM guided and non-guided implants.
We offer multiple material options for bone and tissue grafting, and biologic materials to improve healing. Our bone grafting options are autologous (from the patient’s jaw, hip, skull, knee), allograft (human donor), and xenograft (bovine or cow bone). For tissue, we use autologous from the roof of the mouth or tuberosity, human donor, and synthetic lab-based tissue options. We use platelet-rich plasma and platelet-rich fibrin as necessary to provide additional growth factors to surgical sites.
We work with extremely high-level and skilled dentists, prosthodontists to deliver the most satisfactory restorations and prostheses to meet your esthetic and functional needs. We are truly blessed to be working with such an array of distinguished dental professionals and we are happy to be serving such a large community.
