Meet Michael J. Nick, DDS

Dr. Michael J. Nick completed his training in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Iowa. He participates in the full scope of Oral & Facial Surgery with an emphasis on complex bone and soft tissue grafting for implant surgery, dentoalveolar surgery, trauma and orthognathic surgery.

Dr Nick is the oldest of 6 children and grew up in the Sauganash neighborhood of Chicago. He and his family all attended Queen of All Saints and Loyola Academy. Dr. Nick then attended Marquette University for both Undergraduate and Dental School, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude. He is a member of Alpha Sigma Nu Honor Society, AAOMS, ISOMS, IL State Dental Society and the American Dental Association. He participates in the Mission of Mercy and other community service activities. He presented his Anesthesia Research at the 2016 AAOMS meeting. Dr. Nick is a Diplomate and Board Certified by the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons. Dr. Nick holds privileges at Northwestern Lake Forest Hospital.

Dr. Nick met his wife, Megan at Marquette and they reside in Chicago with their daughter, Leah, and son, Michael. Dr. Nick and his wife enjoy going out for dinner, hiking, and entertaining in their home. In his spare time Dr. Nick enjoys working out with his tough mudder and Spartan teams, spending time with his family and attending sporting events, (especially the Chicago Bulls).
